road trip from humboldt to oregon!

    My friend and I are taking the Tacoma up to Oregon to go see some new scenery. I was thinking of hitting crater lake taking the 26 by mt. hood and hitting Portland. Any good free camping spots/ places to see along the way only have four days for the trip next month thurs fri sat sun off have to be back at work by 6am monday new to Oregon any advice would be appreciated thanks!
