My longest Taco road trip was the first, I flew down to Greenville, SC on business, bought the truck while I was there. Picked it up at the dealership @ 3pm on a Thursday, was checked out of the hotel by 4pm. Skipped the return flight and drove straight back to Northern Michigan, pulled in my driveway 14hrs and almost a 1000 miles later.

Purchased the Taco in Oahu, HI. 6 months later I was moving off the Island.

Had it shipped back to the mainland, picked it up in Tacoma, WA.

Drove it from Tacoma, WA to Colorado Springs, CO.

Had training in GA to get to, so I drove it there. While in GA, I decided the Taco had already been just about far west as I could get, so I drove in to South Carolina to the beach.

Next major road trip I want to take is to Alaska.

I just finished a four month trip that started/ended in Maine. The furthest out I made it was to western edge of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. 20k give a couple hundred miles. Saw a shit ton of country in the western US.

That's a differnt question for me. We do drive to the kids for a 1000 mile round trip but the farthest trip for me is driving up north a ways and driving on the logging roads, 50 miles into the woods and away from any two legged life what so ever. All of a sudden you think ahead of time to check the air in your spare and your cell battery and have plenty of water.

I might. The trip was for me and I'm lazy. If I could find a way to plot the route on a map of the lower 48 I would definitely do a write up, but lots of roads I took in the northwest arent on any maps but forest service or delorme gazetteers.
