    I'm taking a 4-5 week road trip this summer and I'll be going through Northern California. If anyone can give me some tips and pointers about what I definitely need to do or see I'd appreciate it. I started a dedicated thread for the entire trip here:

    Road. Too far for forest trails, and too much risk involved with too much driving off road that far from home.

    my pic was yosemite falls too. Taken from Sentinel Dome. Which for a mile hike has the best payoff in views. Way less crowded than glacier point.

    OP if you have the time I'd recommend the Sentinel Dome hike.

    I would recommend Mammoth lakes area as well.
