    • I have a 3rd gen tacoma
    • I live at 7700 ft
    • I have 85, 87, and 91 available
    • I have VFtuner
I'm interested in learning some basic tuning. VFtuner is set for 87 and 91 but to my knowledge, these tunes were done at or near sea level. Since I live at 7700 ft, I wouldn't expect the tunes to be optimal.

What would the normal process be? Do a pull, check the logs for knock and if not, add a little timing advance? I don't plan on messing with the fuel at all. I have a very steep long hill near my house that I think would work good.

Part of my interest in doing this is to know how much timing advance I'm able to get on each fuel at my elevation.
