I want to start off by saying, my dad (bless his soul) used to tell me "the last thing you want to do is take your car to the dealer for service." I've lived by those words and have always done what I could to prevent taking any vehicle I've ever owned to the dealership for anything! With all that said and after reading some of the threads and posts here (some good - some bad) on the results, I'm still on the fence about this recall. I'm not looking forward to putting my pride and joy in the hands of a bunch of knucleheads. Right now there doesn't seem to be a problem with the leaf springs on my 2007 Prerunner, but I'm thinking about the overall readiness in the future. "Dealing" with the dealership and their comptence will be a flip of the coin and a prayer.
My real question or concern here is, has anyone done the recall that had RoadMaster Active Suspension on before and IF there was any problem putting them back on after the new leaf springs were put on?

    Thanks in advance.

I'd forget the dealership leafs and just slap on the heavy dakars

Here to update on my own thread after having the leaf springs replaced and the reinstall of the Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS) on my 07. The original leafs springs were a 3 pack and the new ones are a 4 pack. The additional brackets or clamps on the leaf springs caused a little bit of problem. I made a call to RAS in North Carolina for tech support. After their suggestion the RAS went back on with no problems. I decided to adjust the tension spring to the 40% rather than the 25%, which is where I set it back in 2012.

Now to rectify myself for posting a Ford rear end on Tacomaworld, I give you a picture of my Tacoma before the leaf spring change out.
