Roadside assistance jacked my truck up by this instead of frame. What is this part?

I think most adults would agree that people are free to choose what is a valid reason for themselves.

    I'm salary too.

In your driveway I can understand because you can at least continue to do your work from home. It's still a waste of time if the reason you were getting to your vehicle was to get somewhere to meet with someone, etc...

I agree completely, but there has to be a point where the validity of a reason becomes questionable. If a person was in your home and just threw trash on the floor because they felt their reasoning for not putting it in the trash can was valid, would you accept that or would you call them out on it?

Who changed your oil last? I bet 7 of your 9 skid plate bolts are on the floor of their grease pit somewhere and they didn’t bother to tell you that they couldn’t get the plates back on correctly. Then, the tire change guy probably tried to put the jack under the skid plates at first and bent them, and quickly and quietly moved his jack to the LCA.

I found a filter wrench stuck between my barely attached skid plate and oil pan the absolute last time I went to that place that does your oil change in a jiffy, what was I thinking?!

Were you the tire change guy? Your account of what "could have occurred" is awfully detailed...

But there's a big difference between being an asshole litterbug (especially in MY house), and differences in what people consider "masculine".

That was just an example. The way I see it, a perfectly capable individual not changing his or her own flat tire and calling roadside assistance is just lazy. I wasn't raised like that and my 19 year old daughter and 16 year old son both know how to change their own tire.

Just today, I was headed to the airport and saw two males standing on the side of the road watching a state trooper change the flat on their F150 for them.

It's not about masculinity, the man card reference was a joke. It's about doing for yourself and not expecting someone to always bail you out of trouble.

"This caused both skid plates to fall off and be bent after he left and I drove over a bump." You admit to hitting a bump fter he did the work , how big was this bump?. Jacking from the control arm is 100% acceptable as it holds the entire weight of the vehicle.

Really wanna go there? I'm hoping you are not being a disrespectful PNW stereotype right now (Stationed there for 5 years) so I'm going to explain why I am disabled and why I am not...

After 7 left knee reconstructions, a right knee replacement, 3 left ankle reconstructions, left elbow reconstruction, and left hand rebuilt twice, jaw reconstruction, right shoulder reconstruction, cervical fusion, a broken pelvis, and PTSD from a military helicopter crash in which I was the sole survivor, I have a ton of issues, now it's mostly anger and a complete lack of patience for blatant stupidity and pain that requires me to medicate myself to be able to sleep at night. Yes, I can walk and use both arms because I worked my ass off for 7 years to rehabilitate myself to get back in the air to make a living for myself and my family, but technically I am still disabled according to the united states government. Do I consider myself disabled, no, because I could be way worse off than I am right now and I am not a pussy. Can I run? No. Can I still beat the ever loving fuck out of disrespectful snowflakes? You bet your ass I can.
