I have a roaring sound coming from the driver's side front end of my 2007 TRD Sport, it sounds like a wheel bearing is bad and when I turn it sometimes makes a clunking sound. I replaced the wheel bearing and it is still roaring. Could it be a bad CV axle? What do I need to look at to diagnose it better?

It could be the other side. Just because it sounds like the drivers side doesn't mean that it is.

Jack up the passenger side wheel. Grab it at 3 and 9 o'clock and try and turn the wheel from side to side. Do the same at 12 and 6 o'clock. Then rotate the wheel slowly feeling for any grinding. If you have slop and or grinding it is the bearing.

I'm a great believer in the theory if you need to replace one front wheel bearing, go ahead and replace both of them. Kinda like radiator hoses. if one's bad, it won't be long before the other goes.

I spun both sides, and the grinding is coming from the driver's side. The passenger's side is smooth as can be.

The other option would be piss poor alignment, but that one diagnoses itself when your truck tries to steer itself off the road.
