Just a few snaps from the OC_Overland and CabeToyota meet I attended yesterday.

I was flattered that people recognized me. The Toyota community is strong. One Taco owner drove from San Diego which is 75+ miles to attend. He's a YouTube subscriber of mine too!

 

CMC finally done! Pinch weld was tackled too.

I finished some minor trimming myself and painting.

I wish I had a plasma cutter and welder!

Question. How did you get your oem tip on the mbrp?

 

I literally jammed in it. lol.

I'm thinking to put a screw from under to hold it in case hitting rocks while offroading tries to knock it loose.

 

Ah ok so I wasn't going crazy. It wouldn't go in so I gave up trying to put the tip on.

 

yea you gotta jam in backwards. the sleeve goes inside not outside as it had on the stocker.

Went to Holy Jim to get a few shots. I need to do a few retakes but at least it's not far.

 

Where did you buy those Volk Racing TE37X 16x8 0 offset? Looks amazing but gotta be damn expensive. Brings back memories of those early 2000 “JDM scene” Haha!

 

I actually picked up em used but the best price I've seen is ShowstoppersUSA for new.

I love these wheels.

I’m tempted to give this a try since it is so affordable. I’m just worried it will sound too ricer for me, although it does sound good in your video.

 

The other videos and sound bytes makes the exhaust sound like it. It won't ever sound like a v8 but it's definitely not a 4cyl fart can sound either.

I've gotten feedback from a few MBRP owners and all of them are happy with the sound.

See if you can find a Taco owner locally with one to hear for yourself.

One thing everybody agrees on though, it's not a quiet exhaust.
