All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Looking good Rob, I like the recent additions to Hard Shell! The little stripes are classic. Been wanting to do something similar to my Offroad trailer.
Merry XMas to you and the family as well!

Hey Rob, really like your videos, I've been subscribed for a while, keep it up. One quick question, I'm upgrading my suspension similar to yours with 6112 and 5160 with icon aal. I've called Bilstein and they do not recommend having one side of the 6112 at a different height that the other like TRD does, anyways. Do you know where the perches on the TRD bilstein correlate to on the regular 6112? Planning on installing this weekend, what to have all my ducks in a row, thanks

    Hi

    Thanks for watching.

The perches are different on trd.

I recall they would say to stagger for taco lean but now it seems suggested to use a top spacer

Thanks for the reply, getting installed now on perch 3, I'll see how it goes, Amazon sent me two right rear 5160's so now I gotta wait for the left rear, sucks. This is how it sits now

Awesome build @Rob Daman ! How are you liking the Decked system- is it worth the sacrifice in space that you give up?

I think you'll like the added height and ride difference. Just got back from Lake Arrowhead and the same trail I took before was much smoother this time around.

    Thanks for the compliment.

I really dig the Decked. The height was concerning but now I can secure and nearly waterproof what I stick in the drawers without worries. It does leave a flat surface vs the wheel well getting in the way.

I just got back from a short trip to Lake Arrowhead but my wife loves to overdo it (reason I got a hard shell) and I took pics what I stuffed into it. It was 2 Costco size bins, 2 Plano boxes stacked, a suitcase, another clear bin, 2 big sleeping bags, other bags, box of chips and a case of water and I could still squeeze more if I had to.

Thank you for helping me reach 6000 subscribers! I never thought my channel was important enough but it's due to all your support. I even met a new Taco owner just when eating lunch. They recognized me from the videos. As I've said it in my videos, I wouldn't be making videos without you all. 2018 was a great year and I'm hoping 2019 to be even greater!

So a year ago I took my sons to Lake Arrowhead and just a few days ago we did it again! Weather was totally different and truly a winter this time around.

It was a fun trip to retrace our trail steps but got to hit some mud pits as well as them seeing it snow for their first time!

It brought back memories and created new ones!

The last video for 2018 is up! It's my highlight/blooper/B-roll footage.

I just wanted to say Happy New Year and thanks so much for your support! I wouldn't be making these videos without you all!
