It's the rust holes and cracks that are the final straw for me, the bending didn't scare me as much after we bent it back LOL!

Did you add hydro assist to your rack, or just go full hydro?

He was full hydro. I think he just put. Double ended ram in place of the factory rack.

Yeah I kinda thought that. Trying to figure out how it would be possible to add hydro assist to a rack

Never done it, but it would be "easiest" to have a bar going from tre to tre,.around the rack, and the ram attached to that. Don't know where you would port the box off of.

As easy as these tie rods bend with just the factory rack, I’d be afraid trying to throw hydro assist at it would mean constantly changing tie rods on the trail

Just put a good hydro setup and forget about it if you're out to polish the turd that is IFS. Radial Dynamics has some good tech out there for high speed use of full hydro.

The seals on the factory rack wouldn’t hold up to hydro assist. But as they stated add a connection across the rack that connects into the area of the rack the the tie rod threads into. Then you have to build a heavy duty tie rod with Heim ends. It’s much easier to ditch the whole system and go with a double ended ram. I drove on the street all the time and even drove it 4 hours to a park and back.

I think in just gunna build a swing set with a ram instead. I have the room and don't want to worry about steering ever.
