    Their stock replacement coilover still gives you adjustability so i will still be "lifted" I just have to set my ride height accordingly. If Im not mistaken the lifted applications are a custom order for those running custom lifts ie. LT, DB's and such with the stock coil bucket. Or maybe Im wrong havent found alot of info to confirm. I just know from others that the stock replacement was the bes fit for me

    The extended travel is a stock replacement except you get a little bit more droop thus the need for aftermarket UCA's. They are the same price except they don't put in a spacer that "limits" the travel IIRC

    What Josh said, the ext travel is indeed the stock replacement, but allows for more droop thus needing the use of UCAs that arent stock. And yes the "lifted" version is for the DB's :D

    Hmm well you may be correct. On Dsm website the only info they give is for stock or lifted applications. And in the lifted application it specified that it was for DB replacement c/o's. not much for me to go on I suppose as far as extended travel vs standard travel.
    Edit;
    Well Im dumb. I didnt order from extended travel spot cause I didnt need the UCA. Looks line I'll have to remove the spacer later on down the road.

    That's why I PM'd Mica on here. But when you have to rebuild them is when you can take the spacer out. Whenever that may be :thumbsup:

    Doubt you'll care seeing it'll be a huge upgrade regardless :laugh:

    Haha tis unfortunate. I did send some emails confirming what I need but I left the part about the UCA out. They are such a standard thing nowadays in our trucks I dont really think about it being a factor. Once I get this pavement princess back on the trails we'll see how much of a factor my limited travel is. If it bugs me then ill find someone to help me get rid of the spacer

    You will be good....that beast with 35s will be more than capable of what the added droop would be with extended vs the standard travel....I doubt the difference is astronomical....like you i ordered the standard through the website but when i put them in the cart and checked out where it asks the questions of intended use and custom springs valving...I put that i currently have TC UCAs and wanted them in extended travel and with a 650# spring

    Stuff. Also things.
    What Josh and Robert said :D
    Yep. If you're already running an aftermarket UCA, you'll be fine. It's when you run a stock UCA with an extended travel CO that you can break stuff when you droop out. Like the fellas said, just have your shock guy pull the spacer out when you do your first rebuild.

    Its actually a pretty fun car to drive. Soo tempting to put some racecar parts in it but theres no way I can afford two projects right now :help:. The money fairy hasn't come around in a while.

    I feel you...I would love to put a K4 turbo in my wife's GTI and re tune the ECU through APR....but the truck is priority :D
