Yea the fact that a cabin air filter never crossed toyota's mind before this gen amazes me. The dashboard was cake to take out compared to trying to clean. But I have the opportunity to clean a good amount while my dash is out so i might as well

    Hey Rob!

I finally got around to trimming up my fender flares like you did! I'm gonna hopefully get them dialed in this weekend and I'll take some pics!

I've only done the front driver flare, but I like it a lot. I need to hit them with a heat gun to bring them back to life a bit, but I think they'll turn out really nice!

Interior/ Dash mod also complete. Some noticeable blems here and there but overall very happy with it!

    Nice work, Rob!

I've heard that the Wotefusi snorkels have a section of duct between the fender and the air box that is pretty flimsy. Did you notice that?

    Thanks fellas!
And yea I did notice that jason I scrolled through @alee891 and @Squeaky Penguin 's builds and I ended up doing the same thing he did, unbolting and rotating the coupler through the fender and cutting the stock intake tube to size and using the supplied rubber and hoseclamps to mate them together worked really well after some finagling.

Brett's method is ideal. I ended up coiling a thick metal wire and placing it between the air box and snorkel (inside the flimsy Wotefusi pipe). It's held up just fine for the last year and no issue of the intake collapsing.

Yea I was looking at the two options and I felt this was the best for the long term but Im glad the coiled wire is working out. That method doest make it easier to water proof the whole section too. I glued some new sealing trim to the stock slip joints but Im not sure if I got a complete seal. I dont plan on using my truck as a submarine though so I think it should be fine!

    Long time no posty TW!
Schools done for the semester and I have to kick it into gear to prep the truck for shenanigans this summer.
Priority 1 is to solve my ps pump and get the truck rolling again.
Then its just a matter of gear/ storage and maybe a leaf pack swap if money allows.
I also need to makes some carpeted runners for the bed to take my jetski on lake trips

Tis lovely day for a power steering repair

Seriously though haha, I wish there was a simple swap/ solution for a stronger steering. But hey 200k on a pump is not bad at all.

New PS pump has been ordered. Went with napa as opposed to a oem. Dealer quoted me 500+ and I almost had a heart attack. Great thing is Napa didnt core charge me so I can break down this one and possibly see about a rebuild. Still have no Idea what went wrong but theres definitely something broken in there, I hear rattling when I shake it.

    Pump has been replaced!
Shes back alive and kicking. Steering feels amazing actually, old pump was definitely fatigued from its age.
Now i got to spend sometime on the ole jetski and get to the lake!
