Pretty sure they are 4.5" BS i could be wrong. I cant find a link to the correct style that I got. Im also running 1.5" spacers with the new tires

Thanks! I'm going to be running 3.5BS SCS F5s, no spacers, so that gives me a good idea of what I'm in for.

The wheels and tires on your rig look bad ass!

It's gonna be interesting... I have a garage full of parts, but I havent had the time to pull the trigger yet. Once I get back from my vacation, though, it's on!

I figure about a weekend to get the lift and tires on, and then it's time to start cutting...

Me and my buddy are damn proud of ourselves. Passenger side came out a total hack job but it was good practice. The drivers side turned out beautifully.

As far as i know I’m the only first gen still running flares with 35s. If your not running spacers look to see if they will tuck into the flares under full stuff. Cant remember my back spacing atm but thats how i ran mine. I ended up barely trimming the sides of the flares but cut out all the under side lip. To fasten them i cut the clip inserts on the flares to fit a 1/4” bolt in it then bolted them to the truck.

Good info thanks! I had pretty much the same Idea. The actual fenders will clear at full stuff and lock, I haven't had a chance to do a full flex to see if the tire will tuck under the flares yet. I already cut the under side like you did. Once I get the front buttoned back up ill do full flex out to see how much of the flare I need to cut.

From this pic it looks like it will be close but we might just barely manage to get the tire under the flare at full tuck.

Going full overkill with sealant inside and out.
I dont ever want to fix a rust spot or a leak on this thing.

Those tires look so damn good on that truck, dude. Got me excited to get mine done!

Not so much for the tubbing and trimming, but it'll be totally worth it when it's done!

So heres my work on the flares so far. Set of small allen head bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts. Drilled holes through just big enough to fit the allen wrench to keep it looking as neat as possible. We'll see how it work one they're on the truck

Drove her around today. I am thoroughly enjoying my major drop in RPMs cruisin down the freeway. My mpgs might actually improve from this whole ordeal. And with the flares cut to fit the truck looks super incognito you can hardly tell I did anything at all.

Spent this morning at the eye doc getting a piece of metal out :anonymous:. Didnt even know it was in there till it started rusting and my eye got irritated surprisingly. So for the next 24 hours I have to drop antibacteria drops in my eye and flush it every 30-45 minutes.

    In other news!
Got an early bday present from pops.
    image.jpg
Holy crap the 60" is tall
Also got to work putting my CB in.
    Inbetween eye flushes that is.

Picked this bad boy up from a member on here for a price too good to pass up.
Since this is such a big unit. Heres where its going to sit until I find a better place for it.
    image.jpg
I made myself a little antenna bracket out of some old bracket I had lying around.
