Alright I couldn't find the other pictures I had. My mac is screwing up lately. So I took a couple while i was mashing my skidplate back into shape lol

Right inbetween those three studs that hold the lbj cup there is a circle hole on top and bottom. Drill straight up from underneath and be sure to step up your bit sizes in small increments, otherwise you're going to be drilling for a long time and probably burnout your bits. I think the largest size at the end was a 3/8 bit

    And the skid carnage.
    Rock definitely beats steel

Finally had a productive day got a few odds and ends done for the truck.
    1st
Relocated and emptied my oil catch can. I drilled two small holes and riveted two band clamps to the firewall. Looks much cleaner than my Original brackets and bolts jig.

    2nd
I finished up my windshield washer resi.
    image.jpg
Please exuse the fact that it looks like an IED...
    Materials used:
-3" abs pipe cut to lengths unkown (I can pull it and measure if anyone is curious.
-3" abs end cap for the base glued on using abs pipe sealant.
-3" rubber endcap for the lid.

Final volume is just over 1liter. Not too terrible at all.
    And for mounting hardware.......
    Good-ole velcro!

I tried making some metal brackets but they were flimsy and complicated.
So I opted for a pad of velcro on the base of the reservoir to hold it in position and stop any rattling.
The top rubber lid acts as a good rattle buffer and the fit in the small space is so snug it hardly moves at all.
    image.jpg
When all was said and done it fit perfectly under the lip of the radiator support. But for easy access I trimmed the metal a tad.

    Thanks!
Just trying to utilize all the spaces I can. The plan is to fit an air compressor and dual batteries under the hood in the future.

I'm gonna straight up steal your washer reservoir idea, Rob. Plan on me bugging you for details soon.

One of these days I'm going to get crazy and pull the trigger on my in-cab dual battery setup, which will allow me to put my compressor in the old battery location. But there's SO MUCH more important crap to get done first.

Feel free to bug away my friend. I have to say the in cab battery sounds appealing to me ill have to look that up. I have a few hundred feet of welding cable I could use to relocate batteries

Just out of curiosity where do you plan to hide 2 batteries in the cab?

Since I'll never use the jump seats, I'd like to make a tray out of polycarbonate that will put them behind the passenger seat. I'm thinking about the back of the tray extending up past the batteries so that I can mount the ACR and a fuse block, breakers, etc. Then run appropriately sized welding cable to the starter, winch, and whatever else. Probably chase everything through the cubby and under the cab. I have some of it drawn up in SolidWorks, but it's not very mature at this point.
