Rock Auto's Shipping Policy to Colorado

I have bought items without any problems for Colorado.
BUT I don’t have an account with them,

I just buy it directly using my card information,
You don’t need to have an account.

maybe there’s a difference, not sure,

I just did a trial run and it all goes through asking me zip etc without any issues just now

 

Last I checked they wouldn't ship to me at Parker and Arapaho lol

Yeah, I can imagine it gets complicated pretty quickly. That said I'm sure there has to be at least a couple payment processing providers they could have integrated with. Maybe they have now.

Next time I need small parts I'll throw together and order and try to check out

 

FWIW, I've been using Toyota of Colorado Springs for part orders unless partsouq has it or can do better. Toyota Colorado Springs has been pretty damn near phenomenal with fulfillment/ship time and price. Just wanted to mention it.

Rock Auto has begun shipping to Colorado again. I'm stocked up on wiper blades and oil filters now

It is not adding the local tax to the bill that is the easy part.

It is the filling of all the little towns in a given state that is time consuming on a Monthly basis.

Then if you start paying one town you need to file and pay all of them.

As the buyer would you pay the local tax to your city for all your online purchases ??

Then the way Rock Auto operates most likely already is a nightmare of paper work.

One customer order might be paying sales tax in 3 states already add local sales tax for how many other cities it becomes a nightmare of paperwork.
