Trails are rated on various scales around the United States, but if they say "no-bypasses" that means that you must stay on the designated trail/road as designed. This could be because that's the only legal route or because it's the ONLY route. This trail (Chinaman Gulch) has a few obstacles with bypasses, but some only have one way up due to how narrow the trail can get.

More photos of this trail can be found here: https://traildamage.com/reports/chinaman-gulch-170408/

Great video @monkeyevil. I have been following the rest of your YouTube content. Very cool to see your fabrication skills and willingness to push your new truck to the limits.

Lol. Why off-road when you can just take the freeway? Am I right?

I was watching a few of the other videos. Definitely a fan. You guys on a install some marlin parts for some more low range?

Looks like a blast but my 18 Off Road is paid for, I’m not rich by any standard and if you break crap doing that Toyota won’t warrenty it and I probably couldn’t afford to fix it. If I had tons of money I’d build an older model to play with but not my new baby. This forum has taught me that Toyota won’t warranty a broke part if it’s even dirty cause it “proves” you did something you shouldn’t.

People from anywhere east of the rocky mountains cannot fathom the difference between wheeling in the eastern US and wheeling in the western US. It ain't the same ballpark, ain't the same league, ain't even the same fucking sport.

I'm sure we can find a few folks to officially challenge you on the eastern half of the country.

I agree that it is very different, but still the same sport. Kind of like the NL and AL in baseball. The same, but different.

Not gonna lie I do cringe when I see these limos rock crawling and getting hung up, which is why I got a regular cab, a 4 door mod for rock crawling........, but anything is possible if you put in the work$$$, I also cringe at 4 door jeeps, 2 doors is the way to do it imo, easier
