Rock lights on when approached with key fob, HOW?

    OP, have you read the instructions of the sPOD version you have to move jumper to select a negative input? It's required for tying into the violet (On/OFF @ unlock/lock) or the yellow wire (dimming ON/dimming OFF).

    I'm working on it, I'm a novice when it comes to electronics, I've only had the bantomx installed 2 days, I'm trying now to learn what a “Trigger” is and how it works. I will not stop reading until I understand though, I’ve got a long way to go, I don’t even know how I’m going to get all eight wires from the rock lights on one switch, I have virtually no experience in wiring.

    When I move the jumper to negative input will this have an affect on my already installed ditch lights? And as far as basic wiring goes, What would be your best suggestion to get all eight wires from the rock lights on to one switch, can I join all the positive wires from all eight rock lights into one, and then one wire into the panel? I don’t know what gauge the rock light is going to come with yet but it just seems like I’m not going to have enough room

    I think the sPOD will not work for what you want since the jumper affects ALL 8 inputs. If it had a jumper per input you'd be golden.

    If you follow what the video fella did, then every circuit addition would need to be negatively actuated.

    I believe the DSIM converts it to a positive switched circuit. I could be wrong as I’m also fairly new to wiring.

    Update. Purple wire at cargo switch as a trigger on sPod works activating rock lights anytime you unlock doors with key fob, also when you open any door, and will also turn on when you turn on the cargo light switch. However doesn't work in proximity, dome light only still. Must...keep....reading, brain is turning into mush

    I have the Toyota courtesy light kit, took about 4 hours to install. I love the way mine turn on when approaching the truck and how they dim off. Maybe look at the install instruction and see if anything in there might help.
