Hey guys so i have a bit of a noob question here and would really appreciate some help. i bought a set of vision x rock lights from Amazon, il put a link below. The kit looks pretty cool and i hope to get it working soon. ONly question is, the kit comes witha master control box wich to operate the lights with as well as a remote to operate them with. Is it possible to mount the box in the engine bay and just use the remote?

Second question is a bit more general and this is the one im most concerned about. The kit is (plug and play) and a cigarette lighter adapter is included. i would like to hardwire the lights in so i do not have to have the key on for the lights to work. can i just run leads to the positive and negative terminals???

Sorry this is long like i said kind of a noob here? If anyone has used these before or can give me ANY help it would be awesome! thanks guys!

Idk enough about the kit to answer your first question. But the second one yes you can just run power to it. I'd wire in a switch though too.

Jerry (JLee) has that kit as well so I'm sure he can give you more info

    same shit as everyone else
I'd put an inline fuse as close to the battery as possible if you do that.

    most reviews read as satisfied...
but it reads they're not sealed too well
so add that to the list of something to do

I'd only wire a switch if the control box doesn't turn off with the remote. I'd pm Jerry to see how he is running them.

Thanks guys for all the feedback, right now its just wired with the cigarette lighter adapter. I mounted them to some rare earth magnets i picked up from home depot and then reinforced them with some zip ties. all in all im very happy with how it turned out, the kit was a little less then what i expected but for a full kit ready to go it works and looks great!
Thanks for the replies guys! Tyler.
