    1. how would he be able to know they didn't fit right before installing
    2. he went to have the product inspected as well and they confirmed the parts were defective, thus, he isn't responsible for the fitment and even they couldn't fix the fitment
    3. agree
    4.5. agree

    I certainly wouldn't use this company...they admit two things;
    1. they can't build quality parts to spec
    2. their parts, ROCK SLIDERS, can be damaged by laying in the bed of your truck
and their customer service seems shite

    equal pos to me...

Exactly! How can they get damaged when the sliders layed on the bed of my truck or when i installed them! When i took them to get removed and installed by them, they were the same exact fitment as when i had installed them myself.

Let alone the thought of sliders getting damaged between fabrication and installation. Is that possible.... for sliders???

Let it go man. TW is not the place to remediate this. All the texts you posted seem to show great customer service to me.

If you can't let the waste of $250 go, then go to your bank and dispute the charge.

You started this thread purposely not calling out the vendor. Now you're doing the exact opposite and just bitching. I agree they should have refunded your 250. However, they did offer to make that up with free labor for next install which you declined understandably because your going with another brand. Point is they tried to make that right too and if you really have a problem, TW is not the place to address it. Go deal with them directly or let it go.

Disagree. The manufacturer is a TW vendor, so held at a perceived higher standard.

They should have eaten the cost. That $250 they charged will cost them thousands when people find this thread and buy from other vendors instead.

Of course!! Because people kept on asking me to tell them who the vendor was. Started as an opinion until people kept pushing on knowing who the vendor is.

If they would of tried to make it right they would of given me the $250. Why the heck am i going to be happy with them installing them for free when i can do it MYSELF! Yes i am disputing the charge with my bank, but this cost for installing faulty sliders is irritating that i have to dispute it with the bank instead of them. You think i am bitching, i have calmy talked to them on the phone 3 times, gone to them in person twice it wasnt until the 3rd time that im finally done being nice when they havent done crap to refund me the $250. If you cannot understand why someone being mad about this, you are not for the customer or for good business practice

This is the perfect place to talk about this when they havent helped me get a refund. I do not care of the free installation that i can do myself. Rather get my money back!

I agree... They should refund you the $250, but I get not cancelling the order.

Seems like a good deal. Got some new sliders and can sell the old ones. Can easily have the old ones fixed locally and sell them. Why is OP complaining?

    Try rereading my post.

I agreed the labor cost should have been refunded. You've tried with the company and unfortunately have been unsuccessful. Now you are dealing with the bank and rightfully so. As my first post said, this thread is just going to compound your stress. The more people discuss it the more it likely bothers you. You've done what you can right? So let it play out and stop stressing over it. @JoeCOVA makes a good point that you might actually come out ahead financialy if you get to keep both sets of sliders (not sure). Talking about it over and over will likely only make it bother you more. My bitching comment was regarding this thread and not with your communications with the vendor. In hindsight it was a poor choice of words on my part. Resentments are a motherfucker that do more damage to you than the offender.

I'd be pissed too. This was piss poor customer service over a defective product. What's not mentioned here is the OP's lost time as well as his $250.

I'll be passing the word to never buy anything from @JDEMELLO. No quality control at all.

The thing is i didnt keep my old ones. The old ones have already been returned. And no, does not seem like a good deal when i have to go to the bank to dispute my $250

I DO NOT have both sets. The old sets were returned when they were asking for them!

I see. Well good luck disputing labor charges for a service. Technically the service was delivered so probably going to be an uphill battle
