Even if you had the old sliders it would be a bitch to fix them. Cut, grind and re-weld at the new angle. Then strip and apply new powder coat.

Thats what you got out of my post? I added "not sure" too. Oh well, enjoy your resentment. I wish you luck on getting your 250 back.

The service was delivered after i took my time installing a defective product and then me doubting my installation on the drivers side due the clunking noise and then taking my truck to demello to have them Uninstall and install my sliders and still have the same issue, you call that service provided?? Stealing $250 installing defective sliders?

I read your post, you don’t have to regurgitate it. Its no different then paying a mechanic to troubleshoot a problem he can’t find, still gotta pay for his time.

Actually that is way different! Lets say i take my truck for a clutch bearing noise or clutch fork noise and they cannot find the issue. I will happily still pay them because they tried to diagnose it! The mechanic was not the one who manufactured that part. The mechanic is doing his job on diagnosing and at that point deserves to charge me whether he solved it or not.

Over here though, they SOLD me a defective product from the start where I was charged on them un-installing and installing an already faulty product that they made!

It's a little more clear cut than that. The problem was simple, the sliders were fabricated with the wrong angle resulting in clearance issues .

In fabrication, a quick check using a simple guide or template would have caught this before it was shipped. If it passes, a simple QC "passed" sticker decal is placed on the product.

Apparently the mfg does not have an QC measures in place.

In this case, demello created the problem from the start and then charged me the $250.

The mechanic did not cause the issue for whenever you are taking your car to get a check up and diagnose. Way different.

They should have never charged you $250 when you took your truck to them. It was their mistake from the beginning and the fact they took your money and failed to admit & fix it right then says it all.

Don't know why anyone can't see that. They wasted your time and their own.

Thats exactly what im thinking of too.
    Dont understand either man.
Paying a mechanic to diagnose an issue still deserves the pay because of taking his time trying to help you it does not compare to this. The logic some of this people are using to defend this company is insane....

I think everyone agrees with that. My point was he's done what he can and putting any more energy into it is a waste of time. Just let it play out, enjoy life, and hopefully he gets his money back. My guess is this thread is only adding to his resentment. I'd just be logical about this, which he has, and keep the emotion out of it.

I was actually thinking of taking it to a close by vendor that sells rock sliders often and pay them to diagnose, i would of still payed them even if they failed to fix it. But then decided to take it to demello and leave my truck with them all day when i was at work and still have the same issue and charged for it and not refunded for their own faulty product thats what pissed me off

That was not a delivered service, its called let's send this customer down the road and hope he goes away knowing they screwed up building his sliders.

This type of business conduct is unacceptable when a customer such as the OP is paying good money for a set of sliders.

If the customer never comes back then it becomes acceptable to the business and promotes bad business practice and lack of integrity.

Whenever someone is saying to forget the $250 and that im making a big deal of it, that is defending the company even if they dont say it directly.

I posted they should have refunded you a couple times and that challenging the charge at your bank was justified. Your anger is screwing with your reading comprehension. How in the hell is that defending a company? I'll answer for you, it's not. Besides agreeing with your claim, I've only discussed not wasting any energy being mad and talking about it over and over because it changes nothing. You've done what you can do. Relax.

    Work in progress...
Disagree in this case, since he is trouble shooting a problem that's the manufacture's fault. The manufacture that he works for, I am assuming. We know where that leads though...LOL. Why should I pay "you" to figure out what is wrong with what "you" sold me?

I do not have DeMello sliders, but I do have a DeMello bumper that was purchased at a discounted rate a while back when another fabricator stole from many customers. BAMF and DeMello among others did what was right. For that they have earned my business.
