The OP said to drop things about the other products you've screwed up for members, not the sliders. I just want the OP to be informed and not surprised when he orders a bamf product and it doesn't show up, or if he's lucky enough it shows up shaped like a pretzel and none of the holes line up. I wonder what your excuse will be then. No pissing contest, just the facts buddy. Sorry you can't own up to them.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
The 2nd gen 80" bolt on sliders have 4 legs one welds to the third one. We are talking about 1st gen Extra cab weld on sliders that have 4 legs that weld to the frame. Bolt on sliders always deflect more them weld on it's just a fact.

I have never heard anything about holes not lining up on bolt on sliders I have personally installed over 20 sets and they bolt right up. If these sliders that you seen were so messed up the customer should of never excepted the shipment. I don't know what you expect from a shipper I ship the same way all other companies do and yes some will damaged that why they are insured. No sliders have ever been lost and have been delivered. Also I have only had to file a few claims for damaged sliders over the years and out of over 500 sets that's not bad. If anyone has shipping damage they need to refuse it and contact me ASAP.

lol, I can definately say not to buy a set from Revenge Fab!

although I got lucky, I was also at his house in person when they got installed... I am happy with mine, but many others got burned here on a botched group buy.

I have done some searches, but not every site has the latest and greatest. I know this from my searches for a bumper. I take a lot of this information into thought before making a purchase. Yes, I realize that nobody has said a bad thing about 4x innovation. And I am taking that into consideration as well. As for asking vendors to post a photo of the specific product I am asking for, well, that is my right since this is my thread! If you don't like it, then I am sorry. I am not forcing you to stay. I am not asking them to bid for the job, but even if I was, what is it to you? Hell, contractors bid for jobs all the time. I am simply trying to get as much information in a single location as I can so that I can make an informed decision. I am also receiving a lot of PMs from people who don't want to post things in the thread. You don't see those either. As long as I don't violate any forum rules: My thread, my rules.

My BAMF 1st gen access cab sliders have 4 legs....

OP it seems like you can't really go wrong with any of the vendors sliders here. Locals are running BAMF, 4x, cbi and the trail gear ones. I also have a set of all pro regular cab sliders sitting in my garage. All seem like they should easily be up to the task of providing the required protection.

None of them have failed to do their job and all work really well. It may not be Moab up here, but we know a thing or two about big ass rocks and trees.

Again I don't think you can really go wrong.

I'll throw it out there one more time.... I don't think that the Trail Gear sliders should be ignored. I'd stack my TG ones against any of the other ones being considered.

A local is running the trail gear "bolt on's" on his second gen and he doesn't have anything bad to say about them.

you can call it what you want. legs mount to frame - not another leg. that would be called a brace for the third leg........ not a fourth leg.

your sliders have three legs if your only welding three things to the frame.

OP, I don't think you could go wrong with any of the suggestions and Vendors. Sliders are sliders, for the most part they are all built the same. 1-1/2" round or square and .120 wall steel. Who can weld it correctly is a different story, but that would of stood out long ago.
I read all 6 pages and if it were me I'd feel overwhelmed with the responses. But fact of the matter is Sliders don't take rocket science to build. Yes there is skill involved but you really can't reinvent the wheel. I'd say if you plan to use them for what they are, go heavy gauge steel well distributed mounting and supports, which is what every vendor offers.
The kick outs and all that other fancy stuff simply come into play with how you plan to wheel your truck. Are you willing to take that chance and thread a needle? then go for kickouts, kickups, and all that other go go gadget gear.

    'nother vote for BAMF here..

my bolt-ons fit perfectly, the craftsmanship/welds/materials/design are top notch, as was the communication and service. Absolutely nothing that I could complain about. and I think that the kickouts look fuckin fantastic on my DC :) they'v held up to some solid abuse and I will continue to kick the shit out of them w/ not a care in the world..

 pics of said "abuse"? The polls may not lie but they are skewed since OP did not include all vendors.

Same here. All the guys out here in Cali have BAMF sliders.....Jerry does some solid work!! Only reason I went with 4x was because his turn around time was gonna be faster (Jerry had a GB that had just finished so he was gonna be busy)

I mean look at Jerry's rig  That thing is amazing

That azz clown talkin smack needs to GTFO

Anyways, BAMF and 4x get my vote. Keep in mind, sliders are ment to be beat on, if you want something purdy, go buy some nerf bars :p

Just as you are within right to request/ask for vendors to come to this thread and post pictures for you, so you can make a decision on what sliders to get! I'm within my right to think that you should have just went and did some search... and to be honest, I don't think your searching was very well performed if you never heard of 4x when they are one of the official vendors in this very site.... In which you are a vendor yourself....
