Hey guys I’ve searched and searched to find a rock slider that would work well as a side step. My wife is 5 3 and struggles to get in... (I can only imagine how it will be after I get a lift) I really like the style of the predator steps but I figure If I’m going to spend that amount of money I might as well get something that will protect my taco. So besides RCI and CBI what are some good sliders that are good steps as well? Any input would help pics too! Thanks guys/and gals

Get them with fill plates and a 0 degree angle. If you can find someone to do a custom job you could request they stick out past the doors an extra inch or 2 to be able to better utilize them as a step.

Mob town is what I went with. Their textured powder coat makes for great steps. I agree with above response with use of full plates and 0 degree (flat). If you get sliders without a texture make sure to add some, plain painted sliders can be very slippery especially when wet.

Rci make some nice sliders with top plates they work as steps, they also have this nice feature of holding your lug nuts while you take the tire off.

C4 Fab makes a pretty sick slider. They are angled but have a bolt on flat top mounting plate. If I wasnt selling my truck was going to pick up a set of these.
