i know there are treads for sliders but would like get some more individual input. I like the look of the RRW sliders, they look good and appear easy to install. I want slider to be powder coated from MFG so that I don’t have to waste time. Want to stay under 800 if possible. Would like to see picks of your recommendations. I’m not a fan of tubing with plates welded to the tops of the tubes but will consider if they look great. I just bought my sons Tacoma last night and only extra I got was the undercoating. The slider that I go with I need to have before December, so can’t wait on extended lead times. Son will be picking up truck in December and driving it to West Coast.

it’s not showing your cart. Did you select the RCI or Cali-Raised? Both are good

Hoping I didn’t make a mistake but I ended up ordering a set of these from 4WP, $483 so not going to break the bank, may not be the ultimate in rock sliders but hopefully will protect the body a little bit. Picking up tomorrow as well as my sons new taco from dealership.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
If your looking for sliders I would cancel that order they are only side steps.

Yea I realized that these were just steps after I purchased in the store and went home and watched the installation video. They were being shipped free from another northern 4WP store so I hope either get my money back or store credit. I really liked the look of these and assumed that they attached to the frame rather than to the rocker panels. WTH I don’t understand why they make them like this and sell them at an off-road store. So I guess I will cancel this order and keep looking. Trying to find a nice set that isn’t over 600-650.

These are $960 powder coated and probably doesn’t include shipping. Definitely nice but IMO they have to be making a killing off of selling them. Trying to get a good quality product that isn’t going to break the bank. There isn’t a whole lot I believe to fabricating these so thinking profit margin is probably well 70%.

Likely some of cheapest you’ll find that many here have.

BeastFab are awesome, says pick up only in San Bernardino CA, I just PM to see if they can ship to East Coast. The price is exactly what the others should be selling similar sliders for!

This might actually work out for me as I’m going to NAS Lemoore in December so maybe I can pick them up there if I can’t find anything else similar that I like.

I bought metaltech 4x4 sliders for mine. They’re pre-made, painted, w/tops. They’re not as flush with the frame as i’d like but that may be the fault of the guy that drilled holes for me.
    About $850 otd i think

i flew over a boulder at 15mph and landed hard on ‘em - they definitely saved my rocker panel

They’re probably making 150-200 per set at best. I tried to get a guy local to build a set out of his shop since he was making them for others and he charged 500. He messaged me later apologizing but wasn’t making hardly anything doing it himself and wasn’t worth the time it took. Now granted he may not have had special jigs or machinery to help the process as a company that makes them every day would. Then on top of that powder coating costs because they pay another company to do it.

Yes there’s profit but that’s why people start businesses to make money. Peoples wages, benefits, (all area specific) all play a factor in manufacturing. Plus if it’s a newer business then their production costs include rent/payment on building. Overall 900 ain’t bad but yes makes them some profit. Now if they were making 3,000 a week then their prices could be lowered and still be profitable.
