Other things came up...but better late than never.

 

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on the Built Right Uca's I just don't know how much James will charge for the install...

 

I really like these sliders. So, does he weld a bunch of plates onto the frame, then the sliders bolt to the plates? I'd like to get a set and have them powder coated with the bumpers I just bought.

Everything is welded. The pics of mine are on pg 6 of this thread and you can see the welds. He paints them as well, but after a few runs the paint started chipping and getting scratched up so I sanded them down, put on a few coats of primer, then a few coats of truck bed liner. Less expensive than powdercoating plus easier to touch up when you hit rough stuff.

Man, I'm glad you brought this thread up... For $400 painted and installed that's a steal!

I may be calling this shop here in a couple weeks or so. Are any of you guys running with these sliders now? If so, how do you like them.

 

I have them and scrapped them the first weekend I had them. Can't complain. He'll make them how you want them. Soundman also have them, and we came crashing down on his...saved his truck for sure. tell him Tri (tree) sent you.
