bed racks are looking good, i wish they were available at the time when i took an order for relentless a few years back. Though i am debating now to ditch those and find a utility topper for the cvt or just pony up for a flippack down the road.

sliders still going strong  still havent drilled those holes for the frame lol, never got the time after all that time.

Finally got them bolted on. Still need to drill the holes on the bottom of the frame so that I can use them with the hi-lift. I expect drilling the holes will be nothing compared to having to drill out the bolt I broke off in the frame. *When upside-down, lefty tighty, righty loosy :)

Sliders did great in Moab. Kept me from eating a rock in a dry creek bed in Capitol Reef. Thanks again @ETaco23!

Looking at picking up some sliders, just curious though, could someone explain to me why holes need to be drilled to use a hi lift?

So the mounting points are structurally sound. Tearing the slider off and dropping the truck is an undesirable outcome

Alright, I guess I'll need to visually see it. My confusion is coming from where the holes go, I guess. Do you drill them to bolt the sliders to the truck, or are they drilled elsewhere?

They bolt into existing holes on the side of the frame rail and then you need to drill to bolt them to the bottom of the frame. So they need to be drilled on the bottom so when you lift them with a hi-lift they dont sheer the bolts on the sides.

Answer is it depends on the design. Some bolt to existing holes on the side of the frame plus additional holes drilled into the sides and bottom. Some use just existing holes in the side plus drilled holes on the bottom. Some don't match existing holes at all and each one needs to be drilled. Some are welded only.

Just keep throwin' money at it.
The kickouts are worth every penny. I tested out my hybrids in Moab for a week. I used the kickout a few times as a nice pivot point. Evan makes some quality stuff!

Yes, these are hybrid bolt-ons with kickouts. These could also be welded on, but I'm no welder. Had to drill 3 holes in the frame on each side. They are very solid.

I'd have to defer you to the OP of this thread. @ETaco23 was very friendly and answered all the questions I had before I ordered mine. I just took a look and the ordering portion of his website is under construction and he may not be taking orders until November. Wouldn't hurt to send him a PM. http://www.marshallfabrication.com/

Forgot to post up my new product!
Heres my new Tacoma HD Rock Steps! Made out of the same material our Rocks Sliders are made from to make these extra stout. The Steps don't hang down as much as other brands out there, so they have less chance to get hit and hung up.
-Bolt right up to the frame, with extra holes for those that wish to drill and use them.
    -Hardware (grade 8) is included
These are for those that need steps that are HD (Heavy Duty). Will protect the rocker panels and doors slightly while out with the Fam. in the back country. :)

Haven't been tested yet.. But Im thinking these could also be Hi-Lift capable if the extra holes were drilled and used.
