How much time would you need with my truck? I'm looking at the possibility of a quick run down to Portland the week of the 11th.

Ive been thinking about it, and soon I will. I just haven't had time to work on it.
I need to come up with a cool design that doesn't mimic anyone else's bumper

I want to come up with a nice full size spare tire holder next, thats for the bed and keeps the tire upright and to the side or up against the back of the bed.

(Sliders are straight our per customers request, usually I do them angled up about 20 degrees)

Got the sliders on for a hangover snow run with some buddies on the 1st. Worked great as a recovery point and a high lift point and I definitely used it for both.

Do you know about how far below the door this is or the door sill. My truck has a lift so I can't really go by this trucks stance

The main inner tube is about 3/4" below the pinch weld under the rocker panel.
And the the outer tube I usually angle up 20 degrees. Or custom angle. ;)

Yeah that's why I was asking about the one that a customer ordered that was straight out. I'm looking for a little more of a step but also won't get to much in the way when getting out

Silly question..... Have you ever made any that were tight to the rocker panels but then drop down at the doors as a step? Not even sure how it would look

Actually i have, and it was kinda goofy lookin. And didnt do much in turms of protection. Except maybe rocker panel protection.
He had me make the inner tube tight to the rocker panels and the outer tubing angle down so it could be used as a step.
If your wanting them to be used as a step more so, and dont need all that much protection for offroading. My standard sliders are great for that, and could make them come straight out. The stickout on my sliders is about 3-3.5" out from the rocker panel.

Above you say the standard is good as a step but not much for protection for offroading. Are the ones Nimitz is painting in #143 standard or for protection? Have looked at your web site and I am a little confused on which is for what? Will your hybrid ones be more for protection?
