I want to replace my 2022 Taco Stock Predator steps with Real Rock Sliders that are strong. That I can also use as steps. Looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Yea. I saw that. Was hopeful for new opinions on the topic. Not all that old nothing drip.

Sliders themselves haven't changed, and neither have these trucks, so not sure what different opinions you're expecting. They are metal bars bolted to your frame designed to prevent cab damage off road. All of them are plenty beefy. They also make awful steps since they are tucked up close to the rockers in most cases. Find something local if you want to save on shipping.

Exactly, and just about everyone will recommend what they bought.
I choose Mobtwon, but they're out of business so you can't order them anymore since they went out of business.

For the most part, unless you find a set that stick out a little farther sliders don’t always make great steps, even with the kick out in the back.
RCI has a group buy going on right now thanks to @mstudt work getting it put together. Maybe he can answer how far those stick out. A lot are close the the truck to not catch on things. Here’s the group buy link https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rci-group-buy-fall-2022-10-26-10-31.780714/

Biggest two things you're going to run into is turnaround time and cost. If you're anywhere near southern California I can't recommend @GHOST SHIP enough. You'll save yourself time and money over dealing with any of the big names out there, his quality is top notch, and he'll install for you.

Well worth the drive even you have to hoof it a bit.
