    I put grip tape on my sliders because they were often slippery in the winter. My sliders don’t make for great steps, but you pretty much have to step on them to get in without rubbing the side of your leg on them and getting it covered in mud/snow.

    the p steps look good when the steps have been knocked off, then they look like rock sliders

    Did you ever get the BA Sliders? I came across them on Amazon a while back and it was being sold by a third party. Noticed in the description, they said it was DOM steel tubing but I looked up BA's website and no mention of DOM. I am curious about the quality though since I've seen a few people mention that they like the company's bumpers.
