I had LOD sliders on my jeep and they had optional panels for the top and bottom. They looked great but loved to collect little stones and shit and were finicky to clean out.

I am not a big mall fan but I'll take the Starbucks at the mall over the wooden hammer treatment.

Self Mutilation with an inanimate object seems to be a bit of a problem along with a $10.65 cup of coffee, who even has a mall in 2024?

    Another vote for RCI.........
Their welding and powder-coating is a definite 10/10

The coffee is not really expensive, about $2.50 a cup. It's the liquid candy bars that run up the tab.

Definitely something I've noticed too, keeps the side of the track much cleaner for sure but also means it needs to be cleaned out with a hose and not just a drive through car wash too. Sliders also catch rocks and debris getting kicked up, great since it means it's stuff not hitting the door but not so great if you have steel that can rust if the powder coat starts chipping off.

Exactly. And there’s a Short cup, not listed on the menu, that’s 8oz for $1.75 - $2.00. 8oz used to be considered a perfectly adequate serving of coffee. Starbucks tastes burnt to me. I suspect it’s because they buy crappy beans in bulk and have to over roast them to make them all taste the same, but just my theory. But I’m in airports a lot and it’s often the only choice.

    Thanks!

    - No need. After experience off road with the Taco, especially with our off-road trailer, I've already solved the only issue I had (bashing the stupid fat TRD tip on the quarter-panel) and done all the "rerouting" it needs........

I'm not sure we all are shopping based on need... Personally, I'd like the on road protection just in case. That's not a need, per se, but if I'm spending the money anyways...

Thanks! 10 degrees. I like the taper versus the kick out, feels clean to me.

Sweet! I'm trying to decide whether to do the 10 or 0 degree with fill plates. Was there a reason why you opted for 10 instead of higher angled or flat? I'm primarily using it as a step for family and doggo to get in and out of the cab safely. But would sacrifice some functionality for cleaner lines

I know did a bit of research and came to the conclusion I wanted some protection against doors in parking lots. I think the 10 sticks out a hair more than 20, and seems to be a better step while staying tucked a bit. Felt like it hit all the marks for me, I didn’t see 0 degrees offered if I remember correctly, but it’s been awhile.

I'm going with BAMF rock sliders as they're local for pickup. Jeff recommended 10 too. Do you mind sharing a pic of your foot on the rock sliders at eye level? I just want to get a closer look before purchasing.

Here are my 0 degree BAMF for reference. To your point, the piece of mind knowing no one can ding your doors is well worth the price. This is was an easy decision for me for first mod on mine.
