To answer the "strongest slider" question, you're looking for DOM over HREW.
These in ref to steel. Drawn over mandrel is greater for protection and also costs more.
I LOVE Westcott Designs sliders. They offer all the options you're looking for.

I have some 0 degree Warfab sliders w/ kickouts, I had them professionally LineX'd. They are awesome, I can actually sit on the kickout part and put my ski/snowboard boots on in the parking lot or whatever other activity I'm doing:thumbsup: Warfab discontinued sliders for a bit to get caught up with all the other stuff they were building but recently brought them back on the website:cool:

Pretty happy with the RRW sliders, work pretty well as a step to access the roof rack and not too much in the way getting into or out of the truck.

I like a lot of the RRW stuff over most other options, but their supply chain is seemingly complete trash compared to their competitors, even relative to the post-covid world norm.

I don't think they've had Tacoma sliders even listed for at least 6 months if not a year. And their wheel selection, while better looking and better options than basically every other brand, is always super slim pickings.

I took off my RCI 20 degree sliders this spring as I live in a salt treated province in Canada. The top plates are nice but will hold water or salt water at the edges. Mine were 3 years old and starting to show traces of rust on the plate edges. I also had a small surface chip exposing the bare DOM steel on the front right side where a boot caught the edge of the metal plate. I paid $300 +tax to have them coated with Line-X. Most of the work was to remove them and later re-install. There was no rust on the areas that mount to the frame just the top plates. The Line-X coating goes well with the Black Diamondback tonneau cover. The Line-X guy did the whole slider vs just the portion that sticks out in view. I got mine coated before they needed to get sand blasted. The small chip just needed to cleaned up before coating.

I agree about their supply. I had wheels on back order for a couple months. I decided to go with a set of black rhinos instead.

The RRW and the R4T are the same design. Only thing that’s different is the rear top plate.

    I have the original RRW

Got mine in a group buy, I think three weeksish from payment to shipping. Frequent email updates on progress. Only charged me $100 for the delivery which was predictably difficult, not their fault though. That's the only thing I've bought from them, so I'd recommend them based on my experience.

And I like the sliders alot.
