Roger. Definitely will be there for night 1.

Night 2, depending on how many others go and what they would rather do. I was thinking about skipping the KOA and going a little further to a State Park, but I would need to know a good amount ahead of time because I will need to reserve spots at KOA.

 

Now that I am finding out a few Ohio dudes are going as well, I don't know how well KOA would handle 6+ trucks at once.

First night mind be hanging out at a rest area outside of St. Louis and second would be a state park outside of Denver.

Bin my book, I'd rather the state parks anyway, little more fun to get to camp and always more space

 

i unfortunately do not have much time to monitor the threads like i wish i could...so i'm not too much help...but what i would end up doing is buzzing through the main thread and looking at people's location to pull my information...

sounds like homer has been talking about going, but not sure if any other of the NJDB will be heading out this year...a lot of the VA crew will also be skipping this year, but looking at '17...

i believe there's 1-2 from NY that showed interest...

maybe pop into the regional BS threads and throw a link to this thread in there?

Ok cool, had heard you were down and diving this year!!! Are you interested in timing out the trip out there together? I won't be Meryl g the group till St. Louis on about the 29th (dates sorta tentative) but would really like to have a good group from there on

 

Time will tell - a lot depends on how much time I can take off. Hoping for two weeks so I can do some more exploring out west after the event.

 

Still trying to decide whether to meet the KOA outside of St. Louis or just chill at a rest area. The more trucks, the harder it is to get a group to KOA.

 

Lucky SOB!! I'm working hard to get just enough days so I don't have to leave Friday morning... I've got the beginning covered but so far it's looking like we either leave early or have a hell two days getting back

 

I had to leave early last year and made it home in 1.5 days on 4 hours of sleep.. I don't recommend that!!

 

Whoever, and however you go, if you make a side trip through AZ, I'll provide some hospitality, meals, and if ya got the time, wheeling and shootin, cause that's what we do out here!!!

 

Last time I drove it I left from Vegas late afternoon on a Sunday and got home to Bucks County noon on Wed.
Poorly timed but I has a wedding to go to.

 

We are pretty certain we are going to sponsor. Probably going to send the monies Friday. And I am pretty sure I am going to promote our goodies but doubt any wheeling will be done since the Taco is gone. Had to get a more roomy, powerful teuck to haul family and steel so a V8 F-150 came to be. So I am most likely game for caravaning, I am in Maryland and will most likely go the southern route across the US.

 

I plan on going and would like to do the kokapeli on the way out.
I'm also going to be doing some exploring after the event. I was able to secure a campsite on the white rim 4 days after RT.
My biggest worry is the wife cutting the grass while I'm gone
I'm liking the route that is more gun friendly and avoiding Illinois all together.

I've got a nasty rust problem on the frame that Toyota won't remedy... So I'm fixing my frame which means moab is a no go this year unless by some miracle I manage to repair it in time. Lots of welding is needed.
