where in the world would you have listened to that song? :D

awesome song dude. here's a tune ive been into lately.

Cherry Lane - Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. off the cold roses album, which is really good alt country all together. some of its a little strange, but worth it for sure. this isn't a great version of the song but its the best on youtube.

and yes, im a Ryan Adams fanatic :anonymous: ive been heavier on him lately than i usually am. and im always into him lol.

 I find all of the Whiskeytown stuff impossible to get tired of. It is great road music. Adams is a natural eh? Does he still play his hometown much?

ha no unfortunately. after his stint with The Cardinals he "retired" (aka, got married to Mandy Moores smokin hot self and said screw it for a while). so best i understand he just lives in new york now doing his thing. he just released his new album "Ashes & Fire" a few months ago though. i bought it the day it came out. it's a pretty good album; very "Heartbreaker"ish mixed with some Dylan. ive worn it out for sure. he's touring now but not playing anywhere close to me

I should pick-up that album. Heartbreaker is a great one too. Just read a Ben Marshall interview with Adams in Uncut magazine. He comes across pretty ornery...which is no surprise i guess. I don't get the impression he would feel any pressure to do anything he doesn't feel like doing....but as it goes, he'll eventually need a break from his broad bangin' and hit the road for some touring.

Good list of bands! I have a few new ones to listen to!
I currently listen to Reverend Horton Heat, Los Lonely Boys, Brian Setzer (any of his projects), and old Sun Records artists. On Pandora I have Rockabilly Revival, Rockabilly Radio, Reverend Horton Heat, Alternative Country, Los Lonely Boys, and Texas Blues. (Also Celtic Rock, Irish Pub Rock, and Irish Pub Favorites for when it is time to really drink a few!)

Ah, The Pogues...That Shane is a muckin' fess! I love their music but that boy has some problems! He made a few albums on his own and tried another band but it didn't do as well as The Pogues. They cycle through on the Irish channels I listed.
