i need to fix both my rocker panels because they have holes in them, but i can not find rocker panel skins anywhere. My local part stores said they can't get them either. Anyone know where i could get some, or ideas on maybe replacing them with a slider kind of idea?

The rockers aren't removeable...its all one big piece of the cab. They have a few different layers. You might be able to cut it out and then patch it.

See this is what they look like if you cut the end off or what not.

^What Monte said. Do you have any pics? You might be able to make some metal "patches" and fix it on your own...

You can buy a stud gun from harbor freight,I have one and it works great. Basically it spot welds a stud to a clean metal surface then you pull on the stud with the supplied slide hammer and dent is pulled out. Note:I would practice on scrap piece of metal till you get the hang of it. There is different size studs for different jobs. These guns are 120 volt.

Some of this Some of that
You can buy rockers from the dealer or an online toyota parts store. Cut the old one out, weld the new one in, lots of aligning and patience involved but it's possible. There's also a rocker reinforcement panel you can replace if you want. Pretty sure the parts store didn't have em because only toyota makes them, and they're def cheaper from toyotapartsbarn than the dealer

How bad is the dent? If it's anything like mine then I wouldn't worry about it. It's hardly noticeable.
