    Does anybody know where I can buy a rocker switch at a good price that would fit easily in the empty slots? I know that there's a fog light rocker switch, but I don't want to use it for fog lights so I don't want the fog light picture on there you know.

    Thanks

    <-(714)-> SO-CAL
    TRD intake, JBA "shorty" headers, URD y-pipe
    These will work with minor trimming:

    I've been running these switches and they look great once installed..
    They also have one with a LED

    Company called Cole Hersee makes some good ones. Picked them up before from West Marine. They tend to be pricey but fit perfectly into the slots. Just trim a little plastic from the slot and the snap in nicely.

    Here is a link to their rocker switch catalog (pdf)

    Thanks for posting this, I'm getting ready to hard wire a radar detector and being illegal in my state (the only state btw), I wanted an option for turning it on and off.

    Thanks again!

    I like the look of this. Im doing this tomorrow.

    How did you get all the panels off to get inside and add the switch? do you have pictures of how to do?

    also.. is that a USB cable coming out of your vent?

    Not to speak for him but if you pull the chnge tray, you can feed wires up behind the dash and you don't even need to take the panel off.

    That's an air freshener in his vent.

    Lastly, here's the updated version of those switches:

    Thanks Pugga. sounds like you saved me some time doing this tomorrow. So i should be able to just pop the blank one out and put in my new switch for my offroad lights without touching the pannels.

    Are there any rocker switches out there for tacomas that don't require trimming?
