Good idea, if you do any kind of moderate to heavy off-roading you will definitely want sliders over nerf bars.

Personally I recommend weld-on over bolt-on, not a huge issue really but they are stronger when welded on. Most bolt-ons require drilling into the frame so either way you have to manipulate the frame.

Wow I didn't think of that. Yeah I do some light off roading as of now. Just figured it better to with slides cause that might change.

@Shmellmopwho is a member on here that custom makes awesome sliders! Great price too that includes installation. If you ever make it out this way to LA you should hit him up, he made a set for my '04 but I think he mostly makes them for 2nd gens like yours.

    .
My last set was all pro standard dury sliders and they looked and preformed very well. I suggest the bolt on sliders instead of weld on of any kid. Also if you have kids or a wife try to choose one with optional fill plates. Just makes using the sliders for a step up safer. Jmo.

Nice! Don't know if I'll make it out that way anytime soon cause I work a ton. Nice work though, definitely something to think about.

Check out BAMF and Relentless. I know Relentless has a no-drill bolt on option that is pretty stout and I believe BAMF does too.
