Damnit. It looks like I'm gonna have to pass this year. Decided to pick a dual sport instead. Hopefully pick one up in the next month.

Are there many trails to actually make use of dual sport?

Gotcha, just saying, plenty of grip on 90% of the trails and you are going to loose a not insignificant amount of tread over a weekend there.

May be a weird question, but the areas that this will be at... any chance of some mountain bike action?

Moab in general is AWESOME on the bike.

Hells Revenge and Fins&Things cross over the SlickRock Trail several times. Golden Spike/Bar/etc have some 4 and 2 wheel crossover also.

Was looking at the trail map for Moab for Mtn Bikes, but did not know if there would be time to partake in one or two while at Rock Therapy.

Thought it would be pretty sweet to get in some 2 wheel trails while I was there.

Depends on how long you plan to be there. Plan on full days for most truck trail runs.

Alternating days mid week would be good. Compared to most riding I did in TX, the altitude/steepness/intensity around Moab is an adjustment.

I may take the entire week off and so would have a couple days possibly to get some rides in, would be the first time in Moab for myself, so would like to take my time for stuff.

Looks like Moab Cyclery would be a good place to stop and maybe even do a guide trail tour one day.
