    I'll go with the latter.

So, you haven't seen my rear bumper. The fenders have started their own high clearance mod and the bumper looks like it's smiling. I just jump on the ends to bend it down enough to open the tailgate.

I would do a rear bumper, but i use the tailgate all the time and a high clearance with a spare under the truck is mostly useless, and a swingout would be a royal PITA every day.

Swing outs arent that bad if you get one with a quick latch on them.

Dammit, if we let one 2nd Gen come along, then we have to let all of them. Then the 3rd Gen guys are gonna get all sensitive and want their participation trophy too, so we have to let them in in order to be inclusive.

    Where does it end, Brandon?
That's gonna be an epic trip! I really want to run Rimrocker both directions someday, so this would be a perfect opportunity to get a run in. Going with at least another rig would be smart too.

By the way, if you need a crash pad in Denver on the way out or back, you're more than welcome, man.

I have so much shit to do still, and October is coming up fast. Work pays for the mods and everything, but I need time more than I need moneys at this point, and work isn't cooperating in that regard.
Were you gonna make it to RT this year, Brett?

I appreciate it Jason! I'll probably taker Ryan up on his offer for the way out and then maybe you on yours for the way back. Would definitely help me out a ton. And a first gen convoy would be fucking awesome especially with a bunch of us running 35's. I feel your pain on the work still need to be done. So much to do, so much money needed, and so little time. On the bright side this will force me into making my truck come further along faster than it has in the 4 years I've owned it.

I was in one of the few groups that did Rimrocker last year on our way into RT2016. I believe it was reported in multiple threads by multiple people.

Quick recap - we ran it shortly after being cut. It's an easy, two day trail (could be one day if you put the hammer down). One large water crossing, the rest could be done in 2H.
I'm up for Kokopelli. Won't be doing a full week for RT this year, but plan on arriving Wednesday night - not sure what everyone else's plans are. Sorry for the late response, been back home in South Dakota all week for my grandmas funeral.

Sorry to hear about your grandma, Austin. Mine passed away back in February.

Thanks Jason and sorry to hear. Lost my grandpa last month so it's been a pretty chaotic 2017 thus far.
    Thanks, bud.
And no worries on missing the report - if there were truly a formal one ever written. Rimrocker is a good trail to burn a couple days on for sure. It's isn't difficult by any means, but makes for a good run into Moab to get the camping items/rig lined up.

I'm sorry for your loss Austin. :(

And I'm honestly up for whatever. I know it will take me around 2 days to get to CO, so we would need to hit the road for Kokopelli on Monday to get to Moab by Wednseday? What are you guys thinking @Reh5108 and @jubei777 I'm basically flexible for whatever, ideally starting my two weeks on a weekend and ending it on a weekend but can adjust to whoever.

    I'm pretty flexible too.

Have they posted dates yet? I've been so damn busy I don't know what the hell is going on.

I likely won't be able to go for the full time, but I can be flexible enough to line it up with you guys. All I know is that I want a sweet group photo of our 1st Gens out there.

Tentative dates are 18-21 according to Bobs initial post.
I'm flexible as well, could even leave the night of the 17th :p - earlier if I absolutely have to.

Just a heads up I'm 45 minutes north of 70. So kind of out of the way but 45 minutes driving in the mountains feels more like 10.

But I'm only on 33s does it count if I just add two inches like I usually do when talking about size? :notsure::spy:

I'd probably be up for one or the other but not both. Last year by the end I just wanted to make it home in one piece with the lbj issues I was having.

My schedule is pretty flexible though.
