Still haven't got one from the beach, I've done quite well from piers though. Now that I have my own beach transportation, I hope to break the streak.

i just wish i was closer to OBX, closest drumming i can do, is assateague. 130 miles away. occasionally there are pups and once in a blue moon my friend grabs a slob from cape henlopen, but you have to drive from up here.

this one was caught here in delaware, and if i wasnt on the beach that day i wouldnt have believed it:

If you were to go another 70 miles or so, you could get them on the eastern shore. I know a few people that go out there and catch them this time of year.

i got a buddy on Long Island and he's told me they've been seeing more and more over the years. Same thing with cobia.

Only been past it, never been to it, but looks like it could be an awesome place to both live and fish. Other than being NPS land, but that's anywhere now a days.

delaware is a pain in the ass with the beaches but atleast we own em! not the NPS. bird fuckers still get to have their way.

I love ski racks for transporting my surf rods. No way I could travel highways and city streets with 12' rods vertical.
