Rodney King dead at 47

first off, Shut the fuck up with the whole racist thing. Secondly, he was a felon with a rap sheet a mile long, thirdly, why did he get pulled over to start with? what did he do BEFORE the video started?
So are YOU a racist for playing the race card so impulsively? Why do you automatically assume I am not black myself?

I don't have to care about everyone. Drunk drivers in a high speed chase, fall into the "I don't care about you" category.

 

you can't have police using brutality and revenge against suspects... we need to keep police abuse in check, ...jsut something to keep in mind here, regardless of who was at the receiving end...

I'm not condoning any kind of criminal behavior, & never had a habit of bashing LEO's either but it was no secret that the Rampart Division of the L.A.P.D. was rife with rouge cops despensing their own form of "law enforcement" for years, & it was white cops/black cops /asian/hispanic cops too. Bottom line is almost the whole division was corrupt as hell & nothing was really addressed for years also in regards to citizen complaints (even legit ones)..

Lets understand one another , Rodney King was by no means a pillar of the communty, he was a drunk, a drug abuser, had a fairly long sheet on him & had a habit of evading , the cops in persuit knew this & most knew Rodney...

When he finally was stopped & he started to resist, he got a "tune up" Which I agree with up to this point.. But when you've got 15 LEO's on scene & a group of 5 or 6 standing around , waiting their turn at bat while 2 or 3 others are getting their batting practice in, sorry ,that shit doesn't fly... Anyone with 2 eyes could see that at this point King was a threat to no one, but it didn't stop the beatings one bit.... Those cops dishonored the badge they wore & the oath they took when they joined up..

Rodney King was the POS criminal.. no question...

Those cops were the so called professionals, acting more like criminal thugs than King was....They fucked up, they got caught on cam fucking up & at the superior court trial a couple of those rotten apples had, they walked, they were aquitted, I'd be pissed too...

Once he's down on the ground, that's it. Cuff him. Stupid cops might not have killed him, but they touched off a riot that killed many people.

 

On the GT campus, in an engineering class? You may have to explain that one further as that location does not exactly qualifiy as the hood...
