My recommendation would be the 295s. They are actually slightly bigger then 33s. Won't have the hassle of squeezing 35s. Still have driveability on stock gearing. And not as expensive

You can kid yourself and pretened you want the smaller tires, but we all know you will cave to the 315s

Downsides of 35s as I see it are:
    - Work required
    - Gas mileage hit
    - Gear expense
    - Stock level difficulty trails now become very boring

Yeah, and I don't wanna re-gear yet. I am leaning towards the 34's. I do want a bit taller tire. I'm sure I'll do 35's eventually.

Yea do the 35's when you regear. Although there's only a few pounds per tire and about 0.6" difference in height compared to 34's. A regear would be a good idea on both of those sizes tbh. I ran the 34's before I regeared and noticed a lot of downshifting on uphills. After the regear that went away.

Don't think you would notice a big difference in acceleration and transmission shifts between the 34's and 35's. On that note, I'm getting 315/70/17 in February

Sweet! I'm wrestling with myself over which ones to get. I think going up a tire size wouldn't be as bad because I'm boosted, but at the same time, I will do gears someday.

Awesome build you have here! Been thinking about getting a high clearance rear bumper myself. How's the view with the tire on the gate? How difficult was it to reroute your backup camera?

    Thanks!

It definetly cuts down on visibility. I haven't rerouted my camera yet but it's on the list.

I figured it would make visibility difficult, but the gate looks very convenient. I think pelfreybilt makes some sort of camera reroute mount in their rear bumper, at least it's a selectable option on their website. Thanks

Pelfrey and Brute Force both make relocate kits.

Here are a couple of pics from our short little run last week. The snow was really crappy and it was cooooooold, but we had fun.
