Installed my Bird dawg industries mirror riser the other day. Didn't realize how much it would help!

For tall people it's amazing how much it helps. I seriously almost hit people several times because it completely blocks the part of the curb where they'd be standing as they're waiting to go at a light. I had to duck around the mirror every time.

I've noticed the same problems with most new cars actually.... drove a Chrysler 200 and I had the same problem. With such a push these days to be safer I would think it would be against the law to put things in your FOV like that... I mean if it's illegal to have things hanging from your mirror by the same logic it would make sense that you can't have a mirror that low.

Yeah, its been really cool so far. I knew the mirror in the stock location blocked my view, but never realized how much!

Installed my Colormatched Satoshi from StealthTaco. Looks pretty awesome. Had to clean up a bit of glue from the bottom lip and mesh, but other than that it's a great product. I also need to black out my radiator supports and relocate my horns.

Got my door windows tinted 15% front and back. Also received the T-nuts in the mail to mount my spare. Thanks Chux, I'm gonna run it for awhile this way and see how it works out.

It kinda kills visibility so I might try to figure out a better way or just put it under the bed.

How are you liking the 887s? You don't have any top plate spacers do you? I have 884s and think the front sits too low so I want to do an 886 or possibly an 887. I'll be getting a pelfreybilt aluminum front bumper and a winch too so I'm not sure which to go with.

I still like the 887's. I'm gonna see how it sits with the bumper/winch, then decide if I need top plate spacers.

Took a couple pics to show the flex without the sway bar. Dakars are stiff, but it flexed much better than with the sway attached.

How much lift do you think you'll lose in the front after the addition of that bumper? And how heavy is that thing since its the steel one? It looks like your taco sits pretty level right now

Right now I am about 1" higher in the rear than the front. I will probably have to get the tp plate spacers to keep it fairly level. Most people I talk to think I will lose around 1/2 an inch in the front. We shall see how she sits with 150 lbs of weight on the front. Not to mention all the weight from the skids.

I've heard that 887s with the top plates can limit your droop a considerable amount, which is the only thing that's making me hesitant on buying all my new suspension parts. Does your truck look level to you? Like in my case you take one look at mine and can tell it slopes towards the front (stupid mistake of going with the 884s). Just trying to get some advice so I can pull the trigger on it, I've looked around everywhere and haven't really found a good example of someone running OME with a front bumper and everything still maintaining 3".
