Rokblokz mud flaps

So I have a set of Rokblokz on my 2017 off road. I was going to buy a new set for my 2021 off road that came in today. I just noticed Rokblokz had a disclaimer indicating that they won't work on all 2021 gen3 tacomas. The TRD Off Road is one of those listed models. It sounds like it's some kind of issue with the exhaust. I'm struggling to see how they could really be an issue. Anyone put these on a 2021 off road, off road limited, or pro? I have to imagine they'd work with maybe a minor adjustment.
