    What's your definition of "real" roll bar and are you going for looks or functionality?

    Generally speaking, roll bars provide very little rollover protection especially with double cabs and access cabs. The bar is over the back of the cab and the front will still crush like a coke can.

    Too few to list.
    One that is bolted to the frame and not the bed. I've seen a few pics of roll overs for the 2nd gen and the front held up adequately. It would likely be more for looks as I don't really take my 2nd gen that would put it in a possibility of rolling over. We have a 1st gen for that... I also started looking for a late 80's 4runner for a build. I love those things!
