This may be a dumb question and maybe I didn’t search enough, but I am wondering if a 3rd gen M series Roll N Lock for a long bed can be made to work on a short bed or if there are too many differences?

I have a local one for sale for an absolute steal and want to know if it is worth the effort or even possible at all?

Side_Shot_APR2020.jpg I got a like-new Roll-N-Lock from ebay for $100 4 years ago. It was for a long bed. All I had to do was drive 4 hours one way to get it and buy short bed rails. I ran it for like 2.5 years with zero issues and zero leaks. I got a camper shell and gave the Roll-N-Lock to my BIL who has a long bed. He has ran it for a year now. It worked for me on my 2nd Gen. I hope it works for you!

Thanks for the reply. I think I’m picking it up tomorrow morning. Roll N Lock said I could just cut down the long rails and if I screw that up sound like I can just order the correct ones.
