    I have had 2 roll n locks and work in northern Alberta so i'm used to the freeze up problem. Spray out the lock and the 2 latches that go into the side rails with electrical contact cleaner to get all the moisture out and then use white lithium grease like you'd use for your door latches once it dries a couple times a year and that should keep the moisture out and the latch working.

    Thanks for the suggestions but I no longer have my RnL. I got tied of having to wait for the thing to thaw even after using the 303 protector so I sold it a bought a cap. RNL is a very good cover if you live in a place that doesn't freeze for 6 months of the year.
