Roll Up Soft Bed Cover

I went with the Rough Country one. It is around that price point. Made in America and a good warranty. I have been very happy with it so far.

 

Tyger Soft Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for Long Bed - installed today.

My truck has the factory tie-down rails on bed sides, and the cover required use of the included adapters, which are 6 extruded aluminum pieces that slide in the tie-down rails, locking in place with set screws.
The cover clamps grab those - works well but messy looking and could get in way when securing a load in the bed.

The rear (tailgate) clamping locks are lever cams and seem flimsy, the front (cab) clamps stick on the threads - as when removing cover for use of full bed. Grease helped but best to have some tools handy.

Took me about an hour to install, pretty easy and no drilling required. No rain so no water tight report yet. Paid $217 last Amazon Prime day but just got around to installing today.

Tyger auto soft roll up’s are pretty solid. I ran one for a while. You can’t go wrong for the price.

Gator is highly rated. I've had two Truxedo tonneaus, they are quality and worth the price. If you're going to spend $250, what's another $50? Don't buy a tonneau cover just because it's cheaper than other ones.

 

Bought the Truxedo Truxport, about a month ago. Been through rain, snow, dust. So far, no regrets. At the $300 price point, I think it's a good buy. Went through Real Truck and they beat the Amazon price. Fast, free shipping and hassle free install.
I did jam some plumbers putty in the small gap between the front bedrail and siderails. Pretty happy, looks great!
