Rollbak revolver tonneau top

Does anybody have a backflip revolver 2 cover on their taco?

 

I'm looking at the same one. BAK X2. $959.00 ouch. But it has everything I like in a top. Security & ease of access are two biggies.

 

Yeah. Same price here. It' s what the guy that installs them has on his truck, I figure that' a good sign.

I’ve been looking for reviews but it’s too new on the market it seems.
I’ll end up paying the $$$ since it has all the pluses I’ve been looking for.

 

I am going to order mine Saturday after I get my Taco from the dealer. The rollbak dealer wont order the parts until he measures the actual truck.

I think this dealer got burnt once or twice, when the guy ordering just told them he has a 6 ft bed and when he came to get it installed it was way long and he wouldn't pay for it. He's being overly cautious.

 

This was the cover I wanted but I held off after reading about some issues with leaks, solid fit, and poor cold weather performance. Decided to go with a DiamondBack. SOLID and great looking! Placed my order today.

DiamondBack SE in Line-X black. Not a roll up but highly rated (haven't read one unhappy review yet), bullet-proof solid construction, great look, and easy install/easy quick removal. Kind of pricey but I only want to spend the $ once. Check out the website. Good luck with your decision! I'll post my thoughts after I get mine installed.

Visual on the Diamondback SE confirmed,,,I like much,,,,but ,,what about rear view options ? Can it be folded fully back and still allow a rear view ? I appreciate the 'rear view back up cam' although my eyes & mirrors have done me well in my past. That window behind you vs. a BLOCKED window is big.

 

This model does not appear to offer a somewhat 'Full Access' to the bed.
Correct me if I am mistaken please.

 

I just bought the latest and greatest BAK Revolver X4 matte black model on sale at Realtruck.com $938 delivered.
I bought it last night,, I gave the guy a phone call at real truck to make sure that it was gonna fit without any problems and I got sale price, check it out.

 

Thanks for the heads up. X4 looks better. I'l let you know tomorrow which one I get.

@noob59, you talked me into it. I ordered the x4 today. The dealer measured the bed first, like I said.

 

Revolver X4 for me. Installed it yesterday and so far I like it a lot. It’s my third Bakflip product on two different trucks. If you know what to expect from them then it’s all good.

The X2 has been on the market for nearly 4 years, previously known as the Roll-X. The matte finish on the X4 looks great. It’s almost like textured rubber instead of vinyl.

 

Eh not a fan. Way to bulky, but to each their own.
