Thanks everyone! This thread is horribly self-serving but I'm just too damned happy with the progress to keep it to myself.

Looks great mjp2! I had an idea for your fuel transport problem so I started a thread for it instead of cluttering up your thread.

If all goes well, 2 weeks! She may be running again this Saturday, and after that it's just a matter of finishing up some details and she'll be back on the road! :bananadance:

You sure you'd be seen in a truck that has that much white and chrome? :p

yeah, i'm a big fan of black but i'm starting to think it was a stupid decision based on the fact i cant keep it clean and every scratch looks like a neon sign. my next truck will probably be white (with no chrome though, all black accessories)

LOL! Don't even have a first mortgage at this point. I bought in 2000 and sold in 2005 when it was clear things were gonna turn sour. Profits are being rolled between legitimate investments and this beast.

I specifically drove to lunch and took this picture to provide some photographic proof that I wasn't just pushing the truck around the parking lot in the latest round of updates. The truck runs again!!

Just a few things left to finish and I'll have her back this coming Saturday. Felt good to get behind the wheel again!

damn it! i cant make fun of you anymore for having the coolest pushed powered taco ever made :(

oh well, looks good though, i was just thinking the same thing about it looking stock, but i think its cool. its like a sleeper truck. if a random person saw it they would say "looks good, he put on a small lift and a light bar" and would have no idea that its built to run a baja race, so i think it's cool in that respect. how much of a total lift do you have?
