    installed the 130a alt @Tundradrenalin sent for the cost of shipping (thanks again!) installed new brushes to be safe. So far everything looks good, voltage is more stable.

    Apparently the 100amp unit doesn’t have the 3rd ear,never noticed that before.


    eventually I’ll do the 150 amp swap and keep this as a spare, but this is already a good improvement

    05-07 sequoia optional alt. For your truck you’ll need to swap your connector housing from the 3 pin style to the 4 pin style (pins should be the same) and cut off the third mount ear, it’s documented on tundras.com

    Tundra interior as at the will of a tundra donor popping up. The 01 has stuff at the machine shop I’m waiting on, the 02 is waiting for the 01 to be done and the 98 I don’t even have home yet.


    4runner I’ve got a line on one. It’ll be getting a quick swaparoo for my uncle to buy

    Mercedes is waiting on parts that seemingly don’t exist anymore

    @daveeasa just so you know that ear issue likely can be avoided if you just order the stud and replace the bolt on the bracket. Not sure why that 3rd war is there, but I have a feeling it’s for bearing life

    2020 toyota 86 radio ordered. and solid offroad poly engine mounts ordered. later this month i'll be talking to @dirtydeeds for the JBA longs tubes and i can finally make use of the new miller welder i got a few months ago and do a custom exhaust i've had planned for 2 years now... then its just interior and this trucks pretty much "complete" for now


    the car solutions any time camera i have will need to have a small mod done to the harness since the new radio does not have the one connector i assume the unit uses for power. i will have to confirm and figure out what to do about that.... but yea. car play is coming

    2020 86 radio was located and installed. Everything works except the any time camera. I need to play with that a bit. It turns on but no image on screen.

    If anyone has a better knowledge of how the car solutions anytime camera unit functions, any insight? It turns in, I can hear the relays clicking when I switch cameras. Just nothing on the screen.
