Had my buddy test the stock injectors from my truck. Happy to report my injectors had wonderful spray patterns for 4 holes, and they flowed 250cc on average. The 1zz injectors were ~255 on average. So they’re a perfect fit. Again no noticeable power gains, but on average, 1mpg gain for me

Mind explaining the cause for mpg increase? B/c corolla is more miserly? And Tundra wastes fuel?

Long tubes are finally happening. Slowly. I’m working on it an hour or 2 every day after work. Might be wrapped up by the weekend. As of now this is the progress. P/s lines tomorrow and maybe header install on the pass side + mount
[IMG][IMG][IMG]Passenger side manifold is off, block off installed(not really needed). Tomorrow I’ll do my powersteering lines since they’re stupid easy to reachright now. Then Maybe put this side together. Ididn’t get out of work till 9:30. Ugh.
I have to pull all the studs too for the stage 8bolts.

harness rewire will also be adding a Rockford fosgate amp for the door speakers I got for free from a used car. Actually got paid to remove it lol

Just cats. Rest of the exhaust on hold since the reducers I bought failed to mention they’re measured OD… not ID like everything else!

SO as of now. new headers installed. New solid off road motor mounts installed, new power steering lines installed (all of them). welded the catalytics to the header flanges and attached the vbands to the truck for now. still to do in the next week or 2. finish the rest of the exhaust... hopefully.
finish the rewiring of the radio (pins finally showed up!) and install the new blower motor. since i found out they're only 70 bucks my cost new from toyota..

wiring the radio as much as my patients will allow. it appears im getting much better at crimping these things.. im happy with all the little ones.. the bigger crimps at the bottom are fine and pass the pull test.. but theyre uglier.. my tool needs wider dies. but it works.

[IMG] (yes i know theres a bit of copper past the crimp on the red wire and i'll attempt to address that if i can. if not if it inserts, im happy. its good solid copper to pin contact at the actual crimp.. i just left it a wee bit too long)

still need to add the ignition 12v to the 28 pin and make the speaker outputs a T for the aftermarket amp going in... @daveeasa any suggestions on a 090ii unsealed 4 pin connector i can use for the speakers around the console area.. i'll be running a jumper harness for abit till i get the amp location sorted

also, being a reg cab, rear speaker wires are removed. so the smaller plug is one wire... for the dimmer.

I have some 4 position if you want. At least I think I do. Sumitomo. I have some 5’s too but not many and was thinking I’d use them for the heated mirrors, though I could go 6’s there to make life easy.

So was this a vehicle that the previous owner didn't have full coverage on and still had a clear title as a result, or is it a salvage/rebuilt title?

Was there any structural damage to the frame? This is one of those situations where side curtain airbags would have been more of a nuisance than a help!

frame got tweaked downward just a hair on the passenger side. but 15 minutes at the frame shop and it was straight again. driver front lower control arm got bent, the low cam adjustments were bent.. i bent the cam adjustments back and welded in some reinforcement. drives pretty damn good.

now i might be getting a frame for it for free... thats to be determined yet. but a brand new V6 reg cab frame has appeared and my guy is TRYING to get it for me.. it was a screw up by toyota that he's now stuck with. if that happens i'll be moving motor mounts and putting that frame under this truck... mostly just because.

but as it stands this frames straight, alignment is still a little off but nothing major.. mostly just because of the lift. and the driver rear cab corner is bent inward just a little bit. nothing major. this truck likely will be with me for a long time at this point

hood is also slightly bent, but its not from the rollover. it was like that well before i got it.

Also, why do people see the need to lie about vehicles being in accidents? I'd certainly buy this truck, and the rest of TW seems to embraced it's history as well!

means more money. but this trucks special. i wear the fact its been rolled over as a badge of honor!

the newest 95 taco is ALSO a clean title. it'll get fixed up too. but its mileage is more of a badge of honor on it to me!
